Built in the late 10th century, Banteay Srei translates to "Citadel of the Women". The temple structure is small, with most tourists ducking through doorways, & the carvings are intricate & flamboyant.
A small lake within the temple complex at Banteay Srei was dotted with bright pink water lilies.
With fond (amusing) memories of my mother's attempt at photographing lilies in the Northern Territory I spent a while with these, granting them their own albumn... No masseurs were harmed or lost in the shooting of these Lilies.
